What do you need to complete the KYC verification?
To pass the KYC process at Doto, you will need:
Proof of identity: ID card, driver's license or passport.
🔴 South African traders can only upload ID card, Passport and Green book (driving license is not acceptable).
Selfie or live facial verification: Follow the on-screen steps to complete this part smoothly and make sure the selfie matches the document you’re using.
Proof of residence: Proof of Address is no longer required, your location is verified automatically via Geotag.
However, if the system cannot confirm your address, you’ll need to upload one of the following documents (issued within the last 3 months):Utility bill (electricity, water, internet, gas)
Bank or credit card statement
Tax invoice or municipal bill
Government-issued letter
National ID with address (if eligible for geo-verification)
Other documents, such as health insurance and purchase receipts cannot be used as proof of address (POA).
